Role Description: The Video Editing Intern will support the production of educational and news-based video content for Global Education News. This internship role is on-site and based in New Delhi.



Day-to-day tasks include assisting with video shoots, organising footage, performing basic and advanced video editing, and collaborating on storyboarding and visual concepts.

The intern will help with colour correction, simple motion graphics, and integrating graphics and text to enhance viewer engagement. The role also involves working closely with the editorial and social media teams to adapt videos for various digital platforms.

Qualifications

Strong foundational skills in Video Production and understanding of the end-to-end video creation process.

Proficiency in Video Editing, including cutting, sequencing, and refining content for clarity and impact.

Capability in Video Color Grading to maintain visual consistency and enhance overall look and feel.

Basic to intermediate skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics for titles, lower thirds, and simple visual elements.

Familiarity with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools).

Attention to detail, positive time management, and ability to follow creative briefs and feedback.

Strong interest in education, media, and storytelling; prior project or portfolio showcasing video work is preferred.

Currently enrolled in or recently completed a relevant program in film, media, communication, or a related field is an advantage.
