Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor role based in Kanpur.

The Video

Editor will be responsible for editing educational and promotional video content, assembling raw footage, and creating engaging visual stories that support counseling services and platforms like Predico. Day-to-day tasks include refining video structure, applying transitions and effects, synchronizing audio, performing basic color correction,



and ensuring brand consistency across all visual assets. The role also involves collaborating with counselors, content creators, and marketing teams to understand messaging objectives, adapting content for various digital channels, and meeting production timelines.

The Video

Editor may support occasional motion graphics and graphic design needs to enhance explainer videos, social media content, and student-facing materials.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Video Production, including planning, shooting support, and handling raw footage.
- Proficiency in Video Editing, with experience using industry-standard editing software and workflows.
- Competence in Video Color Grading to maintain visual consistency and enhance overall look and feel.
- Experience with Motion Graphics and Graphics to create simple animations, overlays, and visual assets.
- Relevant experience in educational, counseling, or edtech content creation is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Kanpur, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Robust attention to detail, storytelling ability, and understanding of digital platforms and social media formats.
- Diploma or degree in Film, Media, Communication, Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
