Position Summary
AlMeer Saudi Technical Services Co. is seeking a competent, safety-conscious, and technically qualified Vibration Data Collection Technician (Category-I Certified) to perform vibration data collection and condition monitoring activities at Saudi Aramco Gas Plants in the Northern Area.
The successful candidate shall be responsible for the systematic collection of vibration data from rotating equipment using various vibration data collectors, ensuring accurate and reliable data acquisition to support predictive maintenance and equipment reliability programs. The technician shall strictly comply with Saudi Aramco Engineering Standards, Loss Prevention Standards, Work Permit System, and all applicable Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) requirements.
Key Responsibilities The Vibration Data Collection Technician shall be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
Vibration Data Collection
- Collect vibration data from all assigned rotating equipment in accordance with the established predictive maintenance schedules.
- Perform route-based vibration monitoring using portable vibration data collectors.
- Ensure accurate and repeatable vibration measurements from designated measurement points.
- Upload, download, synchronize and manage vibration routes using applicable software.
- Verify completeness and integrity of collected vibration data before submission.
Equipment Operation
Operate and demonstrate proficiency in vibration data collectors from various manufacturers including, but not limited to:
- Bently Nevada (Preferred)
- SKF
- Emerson CSI
- PRUFTECHNIK
- Adash
- Other equivalent vibration monitoring systems
Experience with Bently Nevada vibration data collectors will be considered a significant advantage.
Condition Monitoring Support
- Assist Reliability and Condition Monitoring Engineers in predictive maintenance programs.
- Identify abnormal machine conditions during routine data collection.
- Report unusual equipment behavior immediately to the responsible Engineer.
- Assist in route optimization and vibration monitoring improvements.
Equipment Handling
- Ensure proper calibration and care of vibration data collection instruments.
- Maintain instruments in good working condition.
- Report damaged or malfunctioning equipment immediately.
Documentation
- Maintain accurate field records.
- Prepare daily work reports.
- Record equipment status and any observed abnormalities.
- Ensure complete documentation of completed routes.
Safety Responsibilities
- Strictly comply with Saudi Aramco HSE requirements.
- Follow Saudi Aramco Work Permit System.
- Participate in Toolbox Talks and Job Safety Analysis (JSA).
- Ensure safe work practices around operating rotating machinery.
- Use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Immediately report unsafe conditions, near misses, and incidents.
Minimum Qualification
- Diploma or Technical Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or equivalent technical discipline.
- Additional certification in Predictive Maintenance or Condition Monitoring will be an advantage.
Mandatory Certification The candidate must possess:
- ISO 18436 Category-I Vibration Analyst (CAT-I) Certification
Certification shall be valid and issued by a recognized international certification body.
Experience Requirements The candidate shall possess:
- Minimum Five (5) years of experience as a Vibration Monitoring Technician or Condition Monitoring Technician.
- Proven experience working in Oil & Gas Processing Plants, Petrochemical Plants, Refineries, LNG Facilities, or similar heavy industrial facilities.
- Experience in route-based vibration data collection programs.
- Good understanding of rotating equipment condition monitoring.
- Previous experience working in Saudi Aramco facilities will be highly preferred.

Saudi Aramco Requirements The selected technician shall be capable of qualifying as a:
Saudi Aramco Work Permit Receiver (WPR)
AlMeer shall arrange the required Saudi Aramco Work Permit Receiver training and certification.
The candidate shall successfully complete all required Saudi Aramco mandatory trainings and assessments prior to deployment.

- Previous experience working under Saudi Aramco maintenance contracts.

- Familiarity with Saudi Aramco Engineering Standards (SAES), General Instructions (GIs), and Loss Prevention Standards.
