To be successful as a Test Engineer - Salesforce ETL QA, you should have experience with:
Robust experience in ETL Testing, Data Migration Testing, and Data Warehouse Testing.
Strong SQL knowledge and ability to perform source-to-target data validation and reconciliation.
Experience testing Salesforce applications, preferably Service Cloud and/or Sales Cloud.
Strong understanding of Salesforce data model, standard and custom objects, relationships, and data validation rules.
Experience validating complex data transformations, business rules, and data mappings.
Experience with Integration and API Testing using Postman or similar tools.
Strong working knowledge of Ab Initio, Teradata, and enterprise data processing frameworks.
Experience working with AWS services and cloud-based data platforms.
Good understanding of Unix/Linux commands, shell scripting basics, PuTTY, and WinSCP for log analysis, file validation, and batch process verification.
Experience using Salesforce Data Loader, Salesforce Inspector, or similar data management tools.
Experience validating batch jobs, file transfers, ETL workflows, and end-to-end data pipelines.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot data quality and integration issues.
Experience working in Agile delivery environments utilizing JIRA and Confluence.
