Role Overview – Team Lead Embedded Quality Assurance – Bangalore (India)
As the Team Lead Embedded Quality Assurance (M. Sc. or B. Sc.), you will be at the forefront of innovation within our embedded systems development team. This is a player-coach role, combining people leadership with hands-on technical quality engineering. Your role is pivotal in ensuring seamless testing and release of embedded software solutions for X-Rite's renowned product lines, ranging from spectrophotometers to spectral imaging systems.



Your expertise will guarantee the highest quality standards across our market-leading optoelectronic color and appearance measurement devices.
Key Responsibilities
Establish and grow the Embedded QA competency center (around 6 QA engineers and QA automation engineers) in Bangalore, creating sustainable processes, technical expertise, and quality leadership capabilities supporting global product development.
Define team structure, growth plans, skills development, and hiring and onboarding in collaboration with global engineering leadership (US, Switzerland).
Define and drive the embedded software quality strategy, including automation, test coverage, release readiness criteria, defect management, and quality metrics.
Collaborate with global engineering, product management, systems engineering, cybersecurity, and program management teams to align quality objectives and release plans.
