About the position:
The API Developer is responsible for designing,



developing, testing, and maintaining backend services and application programming interfaces (APIs) that support RMF business and engineering applications. The role focuses on building secure, reliable, and maintainable backend solutions using Microsoft Azure, .NET, and Python within homegrown web applications. This position works closely with cross-functional teams including product owners, front-end developers, data engineers, and domain specialists to implement well-defined requirements and deliver scalable solutions. The role operates within established enterprise standards, tooling, and deployment pipelines, applies sound object-oriented design principles, and contributes to continuous improvement of system performance, reliability, and code quality. The role also leverages Generative AI (GenAI)–enabled engineering practices to improve development efficiency and solution quality.
