About your team
You'll be joining the Sonata Product Development team, which focuses on
enhancing our platform capabilities to support our growing direct and
intermediated businesses in the region.
About your role
This role is for an experienced ETL Developer and Database Expert to work within
the Sonata Product Development team. The successful candidate will be
responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining enterprise-scale data
integration solutions, gaining deep knowledge of Sonata services and platform
data architecture, and contributing to strategic data engineering initiatives.
The role requires robust expertise in ETL/ELT development, data warehousing,
database design, SQL optimization, and data integration frameworks. The
candidate will be responsible for designing scalable and high-performance data
pipelines, ensuring data quality and governance, and driving database
performance improvements across critical business applications. The individual
should be capable of providing technical leadership, mentoring development
teams, and collaborating with application, analytics, cloud, and DevOps teams to
deliver reliable and data-driven solutions.
As part of this role, the candidate may be required to support and resolve
critical production issues, placing them in a front-line position with
significant interaction with business stakeholders. This demands a high level of
ownership, flexibility, and the ability to perform effectively under pressure.
