UX Designer

Location: Noida

ROLE OVERVIEW

As a UX Designer at WatchGuard, you are a growing practitioner who independently owns design work for defined features and product areas. You bring solid foundational skills in visual design, interaction design, and prototyping, and you're developing your ability to influence product decisions through design. You work closely with senior designers, product managers, and engineers to deliver high-quality experiences for security professionals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Design Execution

- Own end-to-end UX design for assigned features from wireframes and flows to polished, developer-ready specs.

- Create user flows, interaction models, and high-fidelity prototypes that communicate design intent clearly.

- Apply and contribute to WatchGuard's design system (Figma) using existing components consistently and flagging gaps.

- Translate product requirements and user research insights into intuitive interface designs.

Collaboration & Communication

- Partner with product managers to understand user problems, business goals, and feature scope.

- Work closely with front-end engineers during implementation to ensure design fidelity and resolve edge cases.

- Present design work clearly in team reviews and incorporate feedback constructively.

- Participate in and facilitate lightweight usability tests or design workshops.

Design Craft





- Actively seek feedback from senior designers and apply it to continuously improve your work.

- Stay current with design trends, tools, and best practices in enterprise and security software.

- Document design decisions and rationale to support team knowledge sharing.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of professional UX/product design experience.

- A portfolio demonstrating solid visual design sensibility, interaction design skills, and design process.

- Proficiency in Figma including components, auto layout, prototyping, and design handoff.

- Experience working within or contributing to a design system.

- Familiarity with agile product development processes.

- Valuable written and verbal communication skills for presenting design work to cross-functional teams.

- Understanding of accessibility principles and how to apply them in product design.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience designing enterprise SaaS, B2B, or data-heavy dashboard interfaces.

- Exposure to cybersecurity, networking, or IT management product domains.

- Experience conducting or supporting user research and usability testing.

- Degree in Interaction Design, Graphic Design, HCI, or a related field.

- Ensure designs meet accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA) and are responsive across target platforms.

- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS or front-end frameworks to collaborate more effectively with engineers.
