- Machine Operation: Independently set up, operate, and maintain CNC, VMC, and HMC machines to manufacture precision parts according to production schedules.
- Tooling & Setup: Configure and calibrate tooling for machining operations, execute precise size adjustments, apply offsets, and perform timely tool replacements to minimize downtime.
- Drawing Reading: Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T;) symbols.
- Safety & Compliance: Strictly adhere to shop floor discipline, enforce workplace safety protocols, and maintain a clean and organized work area (5S standards).
Preferred candidate profile-
- Experience: Minimum of 2-6 years of proven, hands-on experience operating CNC, VMC, and HMC machinery in a manufacturing or machine shop environment.
- Education:
ITI (Industrial Training Institute) certification, Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, or a recognized machinist apprenticeship is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Solid proficiency in reading mechanical blueprints and utilizing precision measurement tools.
- Programming Knowledge: Basic understanding of CNC programming languages (G-code and M-code) with the ability to make minor program adjustments and tooling offsets.
- Attributes: Strong mathematical skills, spatial reasoning, excellent problem-solving abilities, and high attention to detail.
- Work Ethic: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while reliably meeting production targets.
