About The Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and process-driven Manager - Payroll & Compliances to lead end-to-end payroll operations and statutory compliance while ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to all applicable regulations. This role will be responsible for managing payroll for a large and diverse workforce, driving compliance across multiple statutory requirements, partnering with Finance and HR Operations, and strengthening payroll governance through reporting and process excellence.
The ideal candidate brings solid knowledge of Indian payroll, taxation, labor laws, and HRMS systems, along with the ability to build scalable and compliant processes.
Key Responsibilities
Payroll Management
Oversee end-to-end payroll processing through HRMS (preferably Keka) with accuracy and timeliness.
Manage payroll for a workforce of 1,000+ employees across blue-collar and white-collar categories.
Manage salary structure updates, variable pay, reimbursements, and full & final settlements.
Prepare salary structures with sound knowledge of taxation and income tax, ensuring compliance while optimizing tax efficiency for employees wherever applicable.
Coordinate with the Finance and HR Operations teams to ensure accurate employee lifecycle data including onboarding, confirmations, attendance, leave records, exits, documentation, payroll inputs, policy adherence, and full & final settlements.
Maintain accurate employee records in HRMS
