The job
At AVEVA, we are looking for a talented developer with the skills and passion to successfully implement complex technical solution to join our PI Visualization team.
Key responsibilities
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (planning, estimation, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives).
Deliver production-quality software with guidance—accurate estimates, on-time delivery, and alignment to AVEVA standards.
Design, implement, test, and debug features across UI and API layers; learn new areas of the codebase as needed.
Maintain and improve existing codebases with appropriate code reviews, unit tests, and documentation.
Follow established engineering practices: team processes, coding standards, branching strategy, and definition of done.
Apply secure engineering basics: understand security requirements, implement secure solutions,



and validate via testing aligned to industry best practices.
Essential requirements
Bachelor’s/master’s in computer science/engineering (or equivalent practical experience).
2–4 years of software development experience with hands-on coding in C#/.NET and JavaScript/UI.
Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, core design patterns, and clean code principles.
Experience building/consuming RESTful APIs.
Experience with unit testing (and exposure to UI testing), with a quality-first mindset.
Ability to write clean, maintainable, well-architected, and well-tested code.
Strong problem-solving, debugging skills, and eagerness to learn.
Positive communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional teams.
Desired skills and competencies
Experience with modern UI frameworks (Angular and/or React) and delivering user-facing features end-to-end.
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and engineering hygiene (build quality, basic release awareness).
