OVERVIEW
As the Ingredient Regulatory Compliance Specialist, you will develop, implement, and execute global and regional ingredient compliance programs focused on chemical residues, contaminants, and allergens, partnering with global supply chain teams and external quality management partners to ensure sufficient supplier verification data is obtained globally.
As part of the Food Safety and Quality community, you will help shape the company’s approach to ingredient management and build expertise in global food regulatory systems and cross-functional problem solving.
The role focuses on regional compliance programs for ingredient acceptability and emerging issues (70%) and resolving gaps between supplier programs and General Mills requirements within the Global Chemical Residue and Contaminant Supplier & Ingredient Program (30%).
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Serve as the primary coordinator for the Chemical Residue, Contaminant, and Allergen Emerging Issues Global Community of Practice, driving communication and alignment across regional teams.
• Conduct technical research to support development of General Mills ingredient specifications related to chemical hazards and regulatory compliance.
• Advance the Chemical Residue and Contaminant Export Feasibility process, providing technical input for finished-product export decisions to current markets based on ingredient specification adequacy.
