Job Description & Summary
At PwC, our people in operations consulting specialise in providing consulting
services on optimising operational efficiency and effectiveness. These
individuals analyse client needs, develop operational strategies, and offer
guidance and support to help clients streamline processes, improve productivity,
and drive business performance.
In connected supply chain at PwC, you will focus on optimising supply chain
operations and improving end-to-end visibility and collaboration. You will work
closely with clients to analyse supply chain processes, identify areas for
improvement, and develop strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and
increase responsiveness. Working in this area, you will provide guidance on
technology and data analytics to create a connected and agile supply chain
network.
As a Manager in the Supply Chain and Procurement team, you will work as part of
a multi-disciplinary team to:
* Define and execute future-ready supply chain and procurement strategies and
target operating models across people, process, technology, and data.
* Improve end-to-end operational processes and commercial
excellence (e.g. buying and merchandising, Demand to
Pay etc) to reduce costs, boost organisational efficiency, control, and
business impact.
* Design, implement and optimise digital supply chain, merchandise and
procurement technologies.
* Lead large-scale transformation programs, collaborating
cross-functionally and with client stakeholders to ensure successful
delivery.
* Conduct analysis, develop insights, and produce high-quality deliverables
(e.g., reports, models, roadmaps); contribute to proposals and thought
leadership.
* Work across a range of sectors including Retail & FMCG and energy, utilities
& resources.
