- Operate conventional lathe machines for precision machining operations such as turning, facing, threading, boring, grooving, and taper turning.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, job specifications, and manufacturing process sheets.
- Set up jobs, select cutting tools, and adjust machine parameters (speed, feed, depth of cut) as per material requirements.
- Measure finished components using Vernier Calipers, Micrometers, Dial Gauges, and other precision measuring instruments to ensure dimensional accuracy.
- Perform routine machine maintenance, maintain housekeeping, and follow safety and quality standards.
