Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Travel Advisor role based in Vijayawada East.

The Travel

Advisor will consult with clients to understand their preferences, budgets, and travel goals, and then propose suitable itineraries, destinations, and packages. Daily responsibilities include making travel arrangements such as booking transportation, accommodations, and tours, coordinating with partner agencies, and ensuring all travel documents and confirmations are accurate. The role also involves responding to inquiries, handling changes or cancellations, maintaining client records, and following up after trips to support customer satisfaction.

Advisor will collaborate with colleagues to improve services, share destination knowledge, and help promote VK Tours’ offerings.

Qualifications

- Strong customer-focused skills, including Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction, with the ability to build trust and long-term client relationships.
- Excellent Communication abilities, both verbal and written, to clearly explain options, policies, and itineraries.
- Proficiency in Travel Arrangements, including booking transportation, accommodations, and tours with attention to accuracy and timelines.
- Experience working in or with a Travel Agency or similar travel services workplace, understanding industry practices and vendor coordination.
- Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple client requests and deadlines effectively.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with booking platforms or reservation systems.
- Knowledge of popular domestic and international destinations; local knowledge of Vijayawada and surrounding areas is an advantage.
- Prior experience in travel, hospitality, or tourism is preferred; relevant certifications or coursework in travel or tourism are beneficial.
