Job Summary:
A hands-on role responsible for leading a team of Database Administrators organized by subject matter expertise and/or geographic location.
The Team Leader will be required to build a cohesive, motivated team and work alongside a complicated set of geographically dispersed stakeholders including management, technology architects and technology staff to assist in the lifecycle of new client services, from design and development,
through to implementation and on-going support.
The role holder will ensure the team adhere to best practices, will promote team working and transparent communication and ensure workload prioritization.
The role holder will ensure that processes are in place to ensure assigned systems are monitored, maintained and supported alongside ensuring that assigned project tasks or work streams are delivered on time and to budget.
As part of the full lifecycle management the Team Leader will contribute to, and ensure adherence to the development, communication and implementation of a clear strategy.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead database teams, ensuring alignment with business goals.
Management of the assigned SME or geographically located team
Define and drive database roadmaps, including upgrades, migrations, and cloud adoption.
Lead the administration and optimization of Oracle databases
