Overview

The Digital and Technology team of General Mills India Centre is looking for a
passionate and enthusiastic individual to contribute to the Global Digital
Transformation initiative at General Mills in capacity of a Analyst II – Data
Stewardship. This role will report into Sr. Manager - Data Stewardship, GDGS
team in India and functionally collaborate with stakeholders (business and
technical teams) across the Enterprise teams. This individual will develop and
support the data policies, processes, rules and standards for our Unstructured
data (documents, emails, media files, PDFs,



social media, chat logs, etc.)
across the enterprise. The Unstructured Data Steward has ownership and
accountability for executing data governance processes and standards for the
Unstructured data.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

* Lead Data Governance initiatives within the Unstructured data space.

* Develop and maintain a governance framework for unstructured data including
ownership, security, access, retention, lineage, and quality monitoring.

* Support configuration and roll out of current software solution for managing
Unstructured data.

* Partner with data owners to classify and tag unstructured content using
metadata and assisted tools.

* Establish audit methodology and remediation approach.

* Identify and inventory unstructured data sources across business units
(SharePoint, network drives, email archives, Microsoft teams, etc.)

* Work across functions to classify, catalog, label and govern unstructu
