What’s the role
The IT Operations Engineer will become a key player in operating Shell’s central SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
You will work together with Service Management teams to deliver reliable, reliable and secure application and infrastructure services to business end users. The tasks will be done in close cooperation with Application Support colleagues, Project Delivery team (CoE) and infra suppliers and vendors primarily SAP.
As an BTP Operation Engineer, you are responsible to help resolve issues ensuring business continuity for Shell’s BTP Landscape. The role offers the opportunity to upskill in SAP’s latest BTP technology to investigate operational BTP platform issues, determine root cause and to define and implement fixes to restore the service. The team works as a DevSecOps team and is connected to the SAP ART. You will be working in one of our value streams.
