Verizon Global Infrastructure (VGI) is looking for an creative Security Data Automation Engineer to bridge the gap between traditional data analytics and modern DevOps practices. Beyond building dashboards, you will architect resilient "security-by-design" pipelines that drive our threat detection and response. You will develop high-performance, sophisticated Python models to harden the GTS ecosystem,



ensuring the entire data life cycle—from ingestion to deployment—is fully protected and automated.

What we’re looking for…

Supporting daily operations, including internal/external stakeholder engagement and dotted-line leadership.
Maintaining scalable "security-first" data pipelines and ETL processes using Python.
Utilizing Ansible to automate the provisioning, configuration, and hardening of data environments and analytics servers.
Identifying and eliminating manual bottlenecks in the data lifecycle through custom scripting and CI/CD integration, automating the deployment of both security models and analytics code.
Performing complex data analysis to identify trends and patterns, building predictive models that serve a dual mission: providing actionable business insights and high-fidelity threat intelligence.
