Role Description Manager - Client Acquisition and Investor Relations is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram, responsible for leading client growth and managing relationships with existing and prospective investors. This role involves designing and executing client acquisition strategies, identifying and targeting accredited investors, and developing tailored outreach campaigns.
Day-to-day responsibilities include managing the end-to-end sales and onboarding process, coordinating with investment and operations teams, and maintaining a robust pipeline of accredited investors in relevant markets. The role also entails tracking performance of acquisition initiatives, leading and mentoring the client-facing team, and representing the firm at meetings, conferences, and other investor touchpoints.
Qualifications
1. Exceptional skills in Investor Communication. If you haven't been part of buy-side/sell-side investment teams, this role won't be a fit.
2. Strong existing relationships with Institutional and SFO clients. If you haven't worked with SFOs previously, this role won't be a fit. Candidates should have had at least 2-3 years of direct interface with such clients.
3. Demonstrated strategic and critical thinking capabilities within a client-centric environment.
