Role & responsibilities

Job Summary:

We are looking for a passionate and disciplined Trainee Bakery Chef / Apprentice who has completed a minimum 6-month craft course in bakery or confectionery. The candidate will work under experienced chefs to learn and assist in the preparation of high-quality baked goods, while adhering to hygiene, quality, and production standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in the preparation of bakery products such as bread, cakes, pastries, cookies, and specialty items
- Follow standardized recipes and production processes accurately
- Support scaling, mixing, baking, and finishing operations
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of workstations as per food safety standards
- Handle raw materials and ingredients responsibly to minimize wastage
- Learn and apply proper baking techniques, including fermentation, emulsification, and finishing
- Work as part of a team to meet daily tasks
- Follow instructions from senior chefs and continuously improve skills

Eligibility Criteria: Minimum 6-month craft course in Bakery & Confectionery from a recognized institute

Basic understanding of bakery ingredients and processes





Freshers or candidates with up to 1 year of experience can apply

Required Skills:

Basic knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients

Willingness to learn and take instructions

Attention to detail and quality

Good hygiene practices and discipline

Ability to work in a quick-paced production environment

Team player with a positive attitude

Preferred Skills (Optional but Advantageous):

Hands-on experience in bread, cake, or pastry production

Exposure to commercial bakery operations

Basic understanding of food safety standards (FSSAI guideline
