Position Summary
AlMeer Saudi Technical Services Co. is seeking a highly competent and experienced Thermography Analyst / Infrared Thermography Technician to support Saudi Aramco's Predictive Maintenance and Reliability Programs at Gas Plants in the Northern Area.
The successful candidate shall be responsible for conducting infrared thermographic inspections of electrical, mechanical, process, and utility systems to detect abnormal temperature conditions, incipient failures, insulation deficiencies, loose electrical connections, overloaded equipment, refractory degradation, steam system abnormalities, and other thermal anomalies.
The Thermography Analyst shall acquire, analyze, interpret, trend, and report thermal images using advanced infrared cameras and analytical software while ensuring compliance with Saudi Aramco Engineering Standards, Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) requirements, and internationally recognized thermography practices.
The candidate shall work closely with Reliability Engineers, Electrical Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, Operations Personnel, and other Condition Monitoring Specialists to improve plant reliability, enhance equipment availability, and reduce unplanned shutdowns.

Minimum Qualification
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in:
- Electrical Engineering

- Or an equivalent technical discipline.
Mandatory Certification The candidate must possess:
- ISO 18436-7 Infrared Thermography Level-II Certification (or an equivalent internationally recognized Level-II Thermography certification).
Level-II certification is preferred, as it qualifies the technician to perform inspections, interpret thermal images, analyze results, and prepare independent diagnostic reports. Candidates holding Level-I certification with substantial relevant experience may also be considered, subject to Saudi Aramco approval.
Experience Requirements The candidate shall possess:
- Minimum Five (5) years of experience in Infrared Thermography and Predictive Maintenance.
- Minimum Five (5) years of experience working in Oil & Gas Processing Plants, Petrochemical Plants, LNG Facilities, Refineries, or Power Generation Plants.
- Proven experience in electrical and mechanical thermographic inspections.
- Experience preparing thermographic condition assessment reports.
- Previous Saudi Aramco experience will be highly preferred.

Saudi Aramco Requirements The selected candidate shall:
- Be capable of qualifying as a Saudi Aramco Work Permit Receiver (WPR).
- Successfully complete all Saudi Aramco mandatory HSE training and competency assessments.
- Demonstrate full understanding of Saudi Aramco Permit-to-Work (PTW) procedures.
- Comply with Saudi Aramco General Instructions (GIs), Engineering Standards (SAES), and Loss Prevention Standards.
AlMeer shall arrange the required Saudi Aramco Work Permit Receiver certification prior to deployment.
Safety Responsibilities The Thermography Analyst shall:

- Participate in Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and Toolbox Talks.
- Ensure safe inspection practices around energized electrical equipment and operating process facilities.

- Adhere to all electrical safety, arc-flash, and permit-to-work requirements.

- Experience integrating thermography with vibration analysis, ultrasound inspection, and lubrication analysis as part of a comprehensive Condition Monitoring Program.
