Role Description The Texture Manufacturing Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based at Ferrocon Concrete Factory in Kochi. This role oversees daily texture production activities, including planning and scheduling work orders, coordinating with production staff, and ensuring that textured concrete products meet design specifications and quality standards. The supervisor monitors equipment performance, manages material usage, and implements safety procedures on the shop floor.

Responsibilities include training and guiding team members on texture application techniques, inspecting finished products, documenting production data, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.



The role also involves collaborating with quality control, maintenance, and logistics teams to maintain smooth operations and timely delivery.

Qualifications

- Experience supervising manufacturing or production operations, preferably in concrete or building materials.
- Knowledge of concrete mix designs, surface finishing methods, and texture application processes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, production plans, and quality specifications.
- Strong skills in team leadership, shift coordination, and workforce scheduling.
- Understanding of workplace safety standards and procedures, with a focus on factory and equipment safety.
- Competence in basic production reporting, recordkeeping, and use of standard office and factory software tools.
- Problem-solving skills for handling process deviations, equipment issues, and quality concerns.
- Effective communication skills to work with production teams, management, and support functions.
- Prior experience in an on-site industrial environment; background in concrete or construction manufacturing is an advantage.
- Diploma or degree in engineering, materials science, construction technology, or a related field is preferred.
