Orchids The International School is looking for a passionate, creative, and experienced TGT English Teacher to teach students from Grades VI to X. The ideal candidate should possess excellent subject knowledge, strong communication skills, and the ability to create an engaging, student-centric learning environment aligned with the CBSE curriculum.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging English lessons for middle and secondary school students.
- Teach Grammar, Literature, Reading Comprehension, Writing Skills, Vocabulary, and Spoken English.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and assessments as per the CBSE curriculum.
- Encourage critical thinking, creativity, and effective communication among students.
- Conduct regular formative and summative assessments and maintain student progress records.
- Manage classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.
- Integrate digital teaching tools and smart classroom technology into lessons.
- Participate in Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs), school events, workshops, and training programs.
- Collaborate with academic coordinators and fellow teachers to enhance curriculum delivery.
- Support students in competitions, literary activities, debates, public speaking, and other co-curricular events.
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in English.
- B.Ed. is mandatory.
- Minimum 25 years of teaching experience in CBSE/ICSE schools.
- Excellent spoken and written English.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and digital teaching platforms.
- Immediate joiners will be preferred.
