As a Video Editor Intern, you will play a vital role in producing high -impact video content that supports public health awareness, patient education, clinical outreach, and internal training initiatives. You will work closely with medical professionals, marketing specialists, and content creators to transform complex health information into engaging, accessible, and visually compelling videos. This internship offers hands -on experience in video production, post -production workflows, and health communication strategies, providing a strong foundation for a career in health care media and digital content creation.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in editing raw footage into polished, professional videos for use in patient education, health campaigns, and internal training.
- Collaborate with content creators and medical staff to ensure accuracy, clarity, and compliance with health care messaging standards.
- Apply color grading, audio mixing, motion graphics, and visual effects to enhance video quality and viewer engagement.
- Organize and manage digital media assets using cloud -based storage and project management tools.
- Support the creation of social media content tailored to diverse audiences, including patients, caregivers, and health care providers.
- Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity across all video content in alignment with organizational guidelines.

Requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Film & Video Production, Media Communication, Health Communication, or a related field (or currently pursuing a degree).
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Final Cut Pro.
- Basic understanding of color correction, audio editing, and visual storytelling principles.
- Familiarity with health care terminology and an interest in public health or medical communication.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Portfolio or demo reel showcasing editing work (can include academic projects or personal work).
