We are hiring a Statutory Audit Executive for a reputed CA firm based in Ahmedabad. The role involves managing statutory audits for medium to large -sized organizations, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and accounting standards, and supporting end -to -end audit processes. The candidate will closely collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver high -quality audit outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct and manage statutory audits, including planning, execution, and reporting
- Handle audits for companies with turnover above ₹500 Cr
- Review and analyze financial statements to ensure compliance with accounting standards
- Identify audit risks and perform risk -based audit procedures
- Ensure compliance with Companies Act, Income Tax, GST, FEMA, and other regulations
- Prepare audit documentation, working papers, and draft reports
- Coordinate with clients to understand financial data and business operations
- Suggest improvements in internal controls and provide practical recommendations
- Support senior team members and partners in audit assignments
- Maintain timelines and ensure high -quality audit delivery
Requirements
- Strong understanding of statutory audits and audit procedures
- Experience or exposure to large -scale audits (₹500 Cr+ turnover) is required
- Working knowledge of:
- Taxation and GST
- Corporate Laws and FEMA
- Risk -based auditing
- Good understanding of financial reporting and analysis
- Proficiency in MS Excel and audit/accounting tools
- Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills
Experience: 1–4 years (Freshers with strong audit knowledge can also apply)
