Position Summary
The Banquet Sales Manager is responsible for soliciting and securing future business for the venue in assigned market areas. The role focuses on maximizing revenue, maintaining sales targets, and ensuring exceptional customer service. The incumbent will handle banquet and event inquiries, negotiate rates, coordinate event planning, and build robust client relationships with key corporate decision-makers.

Essential Roles & Responsibilities
Handle and convert Meetings, Events, and Group inquiries effectively.
Plan and coordinate events in collaboration with clients, ensuring seamless execution.
Present and sell available banquet/event options to clients to the highest standards.
Conduct proactive sales activities, including calls, emails, client meetings, and site inspections.
Arrange and conduct hotel/venue show rounds for prospective clients.
Administer and execute all planned events with attention to detail.




Negotiate event spaces, dates, and rates to meet booking targets, focusing on off-peak business.
Identify need periods and implement strategic sales initiatives to drive business during low-demand phases.
Develop and promote banquet/event packages to attract conference and repeat business.
Participate in trade shows, travel fairs, and promotional events to expand business opportunities.
Manage business bookings, record denials, and handle network referrals effectively.
Make commercial decisions to maximize MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) revenue daily.
Stay updated through industry education, trade groups, and training programs.
Foster repeat business by delivering outstanding customer service and maintaining strong client relationships.
Regularly update and manage online meeting partner platforms, ensuring accuracy of content, images, and offers.
