What You'll Own
Support & Retention Operations
Raise the bar on escalation handling, so quality holds across every rep and every shift
Close the gaps in 24/7 shift coverage




Build the SOPs and training that let quality scale independent of tenure or memory
Get a clear, evidence-based view of why students actually cancel, and fix what that reveals
Team Leadership
Directly manage Support and Retention as one unified team, hiring for empathy and coaching for ownership
Run regular 1-on-1s, give specific feedback, and build clear growth paths for each person
Personally handle the toughest escalations, so the team sees the standard you expect
Systems & Metrics
Own the metrics that matter: resolution quality, response time, renewal rate, student sentiment etc
Partner with Product and Engineering to fix root causes, not just symptoms
Build the retention playbook: pre-renewal outreach, pause-and-reactivation flows, and how cancellation signals get surfaced and acted on before a student churns
Be the voice of the customer to the Founder and to Product, backed by data
