What You Will Do *

Lead the Should Costing vertical by developing and validating cost models for mechanical and electronic components.




Analyze manufacturing processes, including machining, fabrication, casting, sheet metal, and electronics assembly, to establish accurate cost estimates.
Drive manufacturing process planning and provide technical inputs for design-to-cost, value engineering, and cost optimization initiatives.
Create and maintain manufacturing process documentation, including process plans, work instructions, and manufacturing authoring in Solumina.
Evaluate engineering drawings, GD&T;, QNs (Quality Notifications), BOMs, and manufacturing specifications to support cost and process analysis.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, and Procurement to improve manufacturability and reduce product costs.
Support supplier assessments, benchmarking, and manufacturing feasibility reviews for recent and existing products.
Mentor team members and establish best practices for should costing
