Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled SOC Engineer with solid Splunk and Observability expertise to design, implement, and manage enterprise security monitoring and observability solutions. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Splunk Enterprise/Splunk ES, SIEM operations, incident detection & response, and application/infrastructure monitoring using Splunk Observability Cloud or AppDynamics.

Candidates with active Splunk certifications will be highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and administer Splunk Enterprise and Splunk Enterprise Security (ES).
Develop and optimize SIEM use cases, correlation searches, dashboards, alerts, and reports.
Perform log onboarding, parsing, normalization, and CIM mapping from multiple security devices.
Monitor, investigate, and respond to security incidents across enterprise environments.
Conduct threat hunting, root cause analysis, and incident response activities.
Integrate Splunk with security tools such as EDR, firewalls, IAM, cloud platforms, and threat intelligence feeds.




Configure and maintain observability solutions using Splunk Observability Cloud and/or AppDynamics.
Monitor application performance, infrastructure health, distributed tracing, and real-time metrics.
Create monitoring dashboards, KPIs, and alerting strategies for proactive issue detection.
Support security compliance, audit requirements, and reporting.
Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and DevOps teams to improve system reliability and security.
