GlobalLogic is looking for a detail-oriented Software Engineer with strong expertise in web technologies, scripting, and data extraction. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining web scrapers that automate browser interactions, extract accurate pricing data, and ensure high-quality data delivery for large-scale web intelligence and content verification projects.

Requirements

Experience: 2+ years of hands-on experience in web scraping, web crawling, or browser automation.
Core Skills: Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS Selectors, API Calls, Web Crawling, and Data Extraction.
Web Technologies: Good understanding of DOM structure, browser developer tools, XPath/CSS Selectors, and browser automation concepts.
Automation: Experience in developing and maintaining scripts that automate browser actions and extract structured data.
Problem Solving: Robust analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues efficiently.
Communication:



Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
Work Style: Quick learner, self-driven, and capable of working with minimal supervision.
Collaboration Tools: Experience working with project collaboration and communication platforms such as Jira, Slack, Google Chat, or similar tools.

Data Validation: Verify the accuracy, consistency, and completeness of extracted information by comparing data across multiple web sources.
Content Verification: Ensure extracted content meets project-specific quality standards and accurately reflects the source information.
Bug Fixing & Maintenance: Resolve client-reported issues and maintain the bug backlog based on priority and project requirements.
