As an Export SDR (Sales Development Representative) Intern, you will be responsible for researching potential buyers, identifying decision-makers, conducting outbound outreach, qualifying prospects, and scheduling meetings for our export team.
Your goal is not to close deals, but to create qualified business opportunities by engaging with importers and distributors across different countries.
Primary Responsibilities
Lead Research & Data Enrichment
Research importers, distributors, wholesalers, and retailers across global markets.
Identify decision-makers within target companies.
Find and verify business email addresses, phone numbers, LinkedIn profiles, and company websites.
Enrich leads provided through internal databases and public sources.
Outbound Prospecting
Follow up with international buyers through email, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, and phone to understand their sourcing requirements and schedule meetings with our export team.
Connect with prospects through LinkedIn.
Lead Qualification
Understand buyer requirements.
Identify whether prospects actively import products within our categories.
Qualify leads based on our Sales Accepted Lead (SAL) framework.
Schedule meetings between interested buyers and the export team.
CRM & Reporting
Maintain accurate records of outreach activities.
Update lead status and interaction history.
Ensure proper handover of qualified leads to the sales team.
