Role Summary




We are seeking a Senior Database Administrator with solid DevOps capabilities to support an enterprise cloud migration programme involving VMware workloads moving to Nutanix Cloud Clusters (NC2) on AWS and Amazon EC2. The role covers Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB across self-managed and AWS-native platforms. You will manage database assessment, migration, administration, automation, high availability, performance, cutover, and post-migration support within a structured Migration Factory model.
Key Responsibilities
Assess database dependencies, performance, licensing, backup, recovery, and high availability or disaster recovery configurations.
Define migration approaches for Nutanix NC2, Amazon EC2, Amazon RDS, and Amazon Aurora.
Execute migrations using native replication, backup and restore, AWS DMS, and AWS SCT.
Install, configure, upgrade, patch, and administer Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
Configure Oracle RAC, Oracle Data
