As a Software Development Engineer in Test II at GreyOrange, you will be responsible for enhancing our testing processes and ensuring the quality of our software products. You will work closely with the development team to create and implement automated testing solutions that improve our software development lifecycle. You will participate in the design, development, and delivery of end-to-end testing frameworks and tools, ensuring that they integrate seamlessly with our continuous integration and deployment pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.
Collaborate with software developers to understand features and design test strategies.
Execute testing processes and manage quality assurance activities throughout the software development lifecycle.
Analyze test results, report defects, and verify fixes to enhance software quality.
Develop performance testing scripts to ensure system responsiveness and scalability.




Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to peers on testing methodologies.
Contribute to the creation and maintenance of documentation related to testing processes and frameworks.

Skills And Tools Required

Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
Strong experience with automated testing tools, such as Selenium, Appium, or TestNG.
Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices and tools, like Jenkins or GitLab CI.
Familiarity with performance testing tools, such as JMeter or Gatling.
Understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and DevOps.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment.
Experience with version control systems such as Git.
