Job Overview:
As the Media Strategist/Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive media strategies to increase the organisation's visibility, reach, and impact across digital and conventional media channels. With your extensive experience in media relations, you will drive the creation of compelling narratives, engage target audiences, and amplify awareness of our mission and initiatives.



Your strategic expertise will be pivotal in maximising the organisation’s media presence and advancing our advocacy efforts.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Develop and execute integrated media strategies aligned with organisational goals, target audiences, and messaging priorities.
Identify and cultivate relationships with key media outlets, journalists, influencers, and stakeholders to secure media coverage and partnerships.
Create and distribute press releases, media pitches, and other materials to secure media placements in print, broadcast, online, and social media platforms.
Monitor media coverage and trends related to our focus areas, providing regular updates and insights to inform strategic decision-making.
Collaborate with the communications team to produce high-quality content, including articles, op-eds, videos, infographics, and multimedia assets for media distribution.
