Role Summary

The Deputy Key Accounts Manager will be responsible for managing and growing
assigned key business accounts within the Fruits & Vegetables (FnV) category by
driving revenue, profitability, and operational excellence. The role owns
end-to-end commercial performance, including category planning, pricing, demand
forecasting, inventory coordination, and customer relationship management.
Working closely with cross-functional teams, the incumbent will ensure optimal
product availability, improve category performance, strengthen customer
partnerships, and deliver sustainable business growth in a fast-paced,
perishable supply chain setting.

Key Responsibilities

* Own the commercial performance of assigned key accounts, driving revenue,
profitability, and account growth.
* Build and maintain strong customer relationships while identifying new
business opportunities.
* Develop category assortment, pricing, and promotional strategies based on
customer demand, seasonality, and market trends.
* Monitor sales, margins, inventory, fill rates, wastage, and other key




business KPIs to improve category performance.
* Collaborate with Procurement, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, and Demand
Planning teams to ensure product availability and efficient inventory
management.
* Lead commercial discussions, negotiate business terms, and execute joint
business plans with customers.
* Prepare business reports, analyze performance metrics, identify improvement
opportunities, and recommend data-driven actions.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency,
customer satisfaction, and overall profitability.

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Agriculture, Supply
Chain, or a related field; MBA preferred.
* 3–7 years of experience in Key Account Management, Category Management,
Sales, Commercial, or Business Development.
