We are currently seeking an experienced qualified to join our team in the role of Vice President - Credit Impairment Analytics
Purpose of role:
Leads a team of UK reporting operations responsible for end-end reporting activities that covers both external reporting (financial and regulatory reporting including BOE) and internal management information. The role manages supervision & business delivery of financial & regulatory reporting processes & ensuring timely submissions to UK regulators.
This role entails the need to possess notable skills in communicating & engaging with multiple stakeholders across teams.
The role-holder will ensure that HSBC fulfils all its external reporting requirements and provide guidance to HSBC Finance teams throughout the region in preparation and submission of financial and regulatory reporting requirements.
Principal responsibilities
Provide end-to-end support in process ownership for preparation, review and assurance of all BAU reporting requirements (internal and external).
Responsible for ensuring external disclosures are fully compliant with listing requirements and relevant standards (e.g. IFRS) and are meaningful to the readers of the financial statements and other external publications.
Take measures to provide support in the delivery of reporting requirements to the PRA covering financial and regulatory returns, ensuring accuracy, and timeliness, including ‘Ad Hoc’ regulator requests.
