AI Engineer / AI Consultant (Client-Facing, Forward-Deployed Role)
Working hours- 4 PM- 1 AM

Role Summary
We are looking for an AI Engineer / AI Consultant who will work directly with clients to understand their business problems, design AI/automation solutions, and manage delivery end-to-end. This is a hands-on, client-facing role focused more on problem-solving, solution design, and ownership than on pure coding.
Key Responsibilities
Client Discovery & Scoping
Sit with clients to understand pain points, processes, and goals
Run discovery and scoping workshops, break work into clear phases (e.g., 8–12 weeks)
Translate business problems into AI/automation solution proposals
Solution Design & Prototyping
Design AI-driven tools, automations, or applications using:
LLMs (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, other open-source models)
APIs, integrations, and basic software components
Build PoCs, internal tools, and pilot solutions to validate ideas
Implementation & Ownership
Work with internal tech/resources (developers, QA, DevOps)
to implement and deploy solutions
Ensure code/solutions are:
Scalable
Maintainable and readable for future engineers
Properly documented
Client Management & Communication
Own end-to-end relationships for assigned clients/projects
Conduct weekly/bi-weekly project updates and demos
Collect feedback and iterate on solutions
Quality, Reliability & Long-Term Thinking
Review AI-generated code (from tools like Claude/ChatGPT) for efficiency, correctness, and cleanliness
Ensure data handling and workflows do not break or corrupt information when integrating AI with other systems
Think ahead so that future engineers can easily understand and extend the work
Must-Have Qualifications & Skills
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Science, AI, or related field OR strong equivalent experience with transparent project portfolio
Experience
2–3 years of experience in:
Software engineering / data / AI / automati
