Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and independent Design Engineer-Inventor to join our team at Cyient Insights India Pvt Ltd. This role involves applying strong engineering concepts to design and develop innovative solutions using SolidWorks, with a focus on independent problem-solving and execution.

Job Responsibilities:

* Apply fundamental engineering concepts to design, develop, and test new products and systems.
* Utilize SolidWorks for 3D modeling, detailed design, and technical drawing creation.
* Conduct independent research and analysis to identify design opportunities and challenges.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate design solutions into larger projects.
* Generate cutting-edge ideas and concepts, and translate them into feasible designs.
* Perform design calculations, simulations, and analyses to ensure design integrity and performance.
* Prepare and present design reviews, technical documentation,



and project reports.
* Manage individual design projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and specifications.

Job Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
* Proven strong understanding and application of core engineering concepts (mechanics, materials science, thermodynamics, etc.).
* Proficiency in SolidWorks for advanced 3D modeling, surfacing, and assembly design.
* Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and take initiative.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and a creative approach to design challenges.
* Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
* Experience with product development lifecycle and manufacturing processes is a plus.
