About the Role: Sukruthi Innovations is seeking a highly motivated and technically competent Technical Manager Solar & BESS to lead the engineering, technical evaluation, and project support functions across solar EPC and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects.

The role will act as the technical backbone of the organization by supporting Business Development, Design Engineering, Procurement, and Project Execution teams. The candidate will be responsible for reviewing and approving system designs, developing technical solutions, supporting project delivery, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Engineering & Design Management

- Review, validate, and approve solar PV system designs for rooftop, ground-mounted, off-grid, hybrid, and microgrid projects.
- Review and approve Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), electrical layouts, cable schedules, earthing layouts, and system architecture drawings.
- Ensure compliance with applicable IEC, IS, CEA, CEIG, DISCOM, and safety standards.
- Provide technical guidance to the design team on optimization of system performance and project cost.
- Support development of BESS and hybrid solar solutions.

Business Development & Pre-Sales Support:

- Collaborate with Business Development and Sales teams during project acquisition.
- Prepare technical proposals, concept designs, and solution architecture based on customer requirements.
- Participate in technical discussions, client meetings, and presentations.
- Support preparation of techno-commercial proposals and tender submissions.
- Conduct feasibility assessments and technical due diligence for prospective projects.

Procurement & Vendor Evaluation:

- Support procurement team in technical evaluation and selection of vendors and suppliers.




- Review technical specifications of modules, inverters, BESS systems, transformers, LT/HT panels, SCADA systems, cables, and BOS components.
- Evaluate vendor datasheets, certifications, warranties, and compliance documents.
- Validation of technical BOMs.
- Recommend technically optimized products and solutions.

Project Execution:

- Provide engineering support during project execution and commissioning.
- Resolve technical issues arising during installation and commissioning activities.
- Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, vendors, and contractors.
- Participate in project review meetings and provide technical recommendations.
- Ensure implementation aligns with approved engineering documents.
- Ensure timely delivery, commissioning, and successful completion of projects within approved deadlines and project schedules.

Quality & Compliance:

- Establish engineering quality standards and design review procedures.
- Conduct periodic technical audits of ongoing projects.
- Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain engineering documentation and revision control processes.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement:

- Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory developments in Solar PV and BESS sectors.
- Recommend process improvements and engineering best practices.
- Support development of current products and service offerings within the renewable energy portfolio.
