Application Analyst – Technical Documentation

Role Summary

Analyze existing applications and create comprehensive technical documentation to support ongoing maintenance, knowledge transfer, and future enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

- Understand application functionality, architecture, integrations, and data flows.
- Collaborate with developers, support teams, and business stakeholders.
- Review source code, databases, APIs, and infrastructure components.
- Prepare technical documents, architecture diagrams, process flows, and support runbooks.
- Develop knowledge transfer materials and support documentation.
- Identify enhancement opportunities and document recommendations.

Required Skills

- Experience in application analysis and technical documentation.
- Understanding of web applications, APIs, databases, and cloud environments.
- Knowledge of PHP, Symfony, JavaScript, MySQL, Linux, and Azure is preferred.
- Proficiency with documentation and diagramming tools such as Confluence, Jira, Visio, or Lucidchart.

Experience 5-6+ years in Application Analysis, Business Analysis, Technical Documentation, or Application Support.
