Hiring: Junior Design Engineer – Mechanical (Battery Pack / EV Hardware)

InfinityX Innovations is building next‑gen ultra‑fast EV infrastructure and swappable battery systems. We’re looking for a Junior Design Engineer (Mechanical) to help design and develop battery pack structures, enclosures, mounts, and related hardware.
You’ll work on:
3D CAD modeling and 2D drawings for battery pack components and assemblies (Fusion 360 preferred).
Tolerance checks, fit/form/function reviews, and basic structural/FEA support.
Prototyping, assembly, fitment testing, and design iterations with production feedback.
DFM/DFA discussions with vendors and maintaining design documentation (BOMs, drawings, change logs).
We’re looking for:
BE/BTech in Mechanical / Mechatronics (or equivalent).
1–2 years of hands‑on experience in mechanical design / product development.
Strong fundamentals in materials,
fasteners, fits, tolerances, and manufacturing processes (sheet metal, machining, plastics, 3D printing).
Good CAD skills; Fusion 360 preferred (SolidWorks/CATIA/Creo also fine).
Ability to create clear 2D drawings with dimensions, tolerances, and basic GD&T.;
Curious, detail‑oriented, and keen to learn EV/battery pack design in a fast‑paced startup.
Positive to have:
Internship/project/work on battery packs, EV systems, or precision hardware.
Basic exposure to FEA/thermal tools (ANSYS, Fusion Simulation, etc.).
