8+ years in finance and accounts, including 5+ years personally owning statutory financial statements and the year-end audit for a group with entities in more than one country.
Demonstrable experience managing licensed statutory auditors in jurisdictions other than the one in which the candidate is qualified.
Demonstrable ownership of a multi-entity consolidation, including intercompany elimination and foreign currency translation.
Working command of transfer pricing: documentation, arm's-length support, and defence of intercompany pricing under challenge.
Ownership of corporate tax filings and of the review and correction process applied before submission.
Loan and borrowing accounting, including related-party loans,



interest recognition and covenant tracking.
Expert knowledge of IFRS and of local generally accepted accounting principles, applied across more than one reporting framework.
Ownership of the annual budget and the forecast cycle, including variance analysis and financial modelling at business unit level.
Advanced systems and spreadsheet capability. The group's systems are not fully mature; the role holder must build controls and reconciliations without waiting for a system to provide them.
