We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Technical Writer to create, maintain, and enhance technical documentation for our software development teams. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Markdown, Visual Studio, and Git, and a passion for making complex technical concepts transparent and accessible.
Develop and maintain user guides, API documentation, and internal knowledge bases using Visual Studio Code.
Collaborate with developers and product managers to gather technical information and convert it into clear, structured content.
Use Visual Studio Code to review codebases and understand software architecture for documentation purposes.
Manage documentation versions and workflows using Git and GitHub/GitLab.
Create diagrams, tutorials, and onboarding materials for internal and external audiences.
Ensure consistency, accuracy, and clarity across all documentation assets.
Participate in code reviews and sprint planning to stay aligned with product updates.
Expertise You'll Bring:
B.Tech. in Computer Science, Electronics, or a master’s degree in English.
Proven experience of 3-5 years as a Technical Writer in a software development environment.
Proficiency in Markdown for structured documentation.
Familiarity with Visual Studio for navigating and understanding code.
Strong command of Git for version control and collaboration.
Understanding of API documentation.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to translate technical jargon into user-friendly content.
