Role responsibilities
Here are the main responsibilities for the Data Analyst role:
Analyse large and complex datasets using tools such as SQL, SAS and Python.
Profile data to understand quality, completeness and fit for business needs.
Identify gaps in data and help create plans to fix them.
Carry out root cause analysis to find why data issues are happening.
Support data enrichment and data remediation work across operational systems.
Help improve data quality processes so they’re reliable and sustainable over time.
Define data requirements with business stakeholders and translate them into practical data work.
Identify key metrics and practical data sources to support reporting and decision-making.
Turn analysis into clear insights and recommendations that help the business act.
