Job Title: Senior Engineer

Department: Projects / Execution

Location: Project Site

Reports To: Project Engineer / Project Manager

Job Purpose

To independently manage execution of major construction activities or zones of the project, ensuring timely completion, quality compliance, productivity improvement, and coordination among all site stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and monitor execution of structural, finishing, and infrastructure works in assigned project areas.
Guide site engineers and junior engineers in execution, checking, and reporting.
Review drawings, technical details, and work sequences before execution.
Ensure site works are completed as per approved construction program and quality requirements.
Coordinate with planning, quality, billing, procurement, stores, and MEP teams.
Verify measurements, subcontractor bills, and material consumption.
Identify construction issues and propose practical technical solutions.
Monitor shuttering, reinforcement, concreting cycles, masonry, plaster, waterproofing, and finishing stages.




Ensure closure of quality observations and site non-conformities.
Enforce safety compliance and site discipline in assigned work fronts.
Participate in weekly planning and progress review meetings.
Support handover readiness and snag rectification activities.

Qualification

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering

Experience

5 to 8 years in building construction, preferably high-rise residential/commercial and township projects

Required Skills

Strong site execution knowledge
Valuable understanding of drawings, RCC and finishing works
Ability to manage multiple work fronts
Vendor and subcontractor coordination
Measurement and billing support knowledge
Leadership and team supervision ability
