Key Responsibilities

Safety Monitoring Compliance

Conduct daily site safety inspections and identify unsafe acts and conditions.
Ensure compliance with HSE policies, safety standards, and statutory regulations.
Monitor contractor and employee compliance with safety requirements.
Verify proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Risk Assessment Work Permits

Participate in Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA).
Assist in preparing Job Safety Analysis (JSA) for critical activities.
Ensure Permit to Work (PTW) requirements are followed before work commencement.
Monitor high-risk activities such as:
Work at Height
Electrical Work
Hot Work
Lifting Operations
Confined Space Entry

Training Awareness

Conduct Safety Induction for new employees and contractors.
Deliver Daily Toolbox Talks and safety briefings.
Promote safety awareness campaigns and behavioral safety initiatives.
Educate workers on emergency procedures and safe work practices.

Incident Management

Report and investigate accidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions.




Assist in root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions.
Maintain incident records and prepare investigation reports.

Emergency Preparedness

Support emergency response activities and mock drills.
Ensure firefighting equipment and first-aid facilities are available and functional.
Coordinate with emergency response teams during emergencies.

Documentation Reporting

Maintain inspection reports, training records, PTW records, and safety observations.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly safety reports.
Update safety statistics and compliance records.

Qualifications

Qualification

Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Occupational Health Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
Certification in Industrial Safety / NEBOSH / IOSH (preferred).
Knowledge of statutory safety requirements and construction/industrial safety practices.
