Job Description – General Manager (Hotel Operations)

Key Responsibilities
Lead the overall operations of the hotel and ensure smooth day-to-day functioning.
Drive guest satisfaction and maintain high service standards across all departments.
Manage the hotel's Profit & Loss (P&L;) and ensure achievement of revenue and profitability targets.
Prepare and monitor Annual Operating Plans (AOP), budgets, and cost optimization initiatives.
Lead and mentor departmental heads while fostering a high-performance culture.
Oversee Food & Beverage operations to maximize revenue and guest experience.
Ensure compliance with ITC Hotels' brand standards, statutory regulations, and SOPs.
Drive business development initiatives, local marketing,



and revenue generation strategies.
Monitor operational KPIs including occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, GOP, guest satisfaction scores, and cost ratios.
Build strong relationships with corporate clients, travel partners, and local stakeholders.
Identify talent, succession planning, and employee development initiatives.

Candidate Requirements
Experience
Minimum 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry.
At least 3 years of experience as a Hotel General Manager.
Robust exposure to Food & Beverage operations is mandatory.
Experience managing hotels with multiple F&B; outlets and banquet facilities.
Experience handling hotel budgets, P&L;, and business performance.
Prior experience with reputed hospitality brands such as ITC Hotels, Marriott, Hyatt, Taj, Oberoi, Accor, Hilton, IHG, Lemon Tree, Radisson, etc.
Experience in business development and driving hotel profitability.
