The Product
Management function defines the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for
platforms and capabilities that deliver customer value and enable business
outcomes. By partnering closely with engineering, design, data, operations, and
business teams, the function drives outcome focused product discovery and
delivery, balances innovation with platform stability, and ensures disciplined
prioritization and governance. The team applies up-to-date product management
practices, customer centric thinking, and data informed decision making to
deliver scalable, high impact products across the enterprise.
The Senior Manager,
Product Management builds and executes the product management strategy for
assigned digital platforms and products, or business domains, aligning product
vision, roadmaps, prioritization, and governance frameworks with business
priorities and customer needs. The role enables predictable, high quality
digital product outcomes by overseeing end to end product lifecycle execution,
and by building strong product management capability aligned to organizational
product standards and outcome driven practices.
Strategic Responsibilities
· Build and execute the product management strategy for assigned
platforms, products, or domains by aligning product vision, roadmaps, OKRs,
and prioritization with business goals, customer outcomes, and governance
frameworks.
· Implement product governance and outcome controls by operationalizing
product management processes, portfolio reviews, prioritization frameworks,
success metrics, and documentation standards.
· Promote product practice uplifting by identifying gaps in product
discovery, delivery, and lifecycle practices and adopting modern product
management methods and tools.
· Optimize product planning and delivery by aligning road mapping,
prioritization cycles, dependency management, and resource allocation across
PM teams to improve predictability and value delivery.
· Monitor product, delivery, and portfolio risks, establish escalation
paths, and support informed trade off decisions across scope, customer
impact, stability, timelines, and priorities.
Functional Responsibilities
· Oversee end to end product lifecycle execution across assigned
platforms, products, or business areas, ensuring alignment with business
objectives, customer needs, and product strategy.
· Ensure consistent application of product governance practices across
teams, including prioritization frameworks, roadmap hygiene, outcome metrics,
documentation standards, and decision making rigor.
· Align product priorities, roadmap decisions, and dependency management
with engineering, design, data, operations, and business partners to deliver
integrated, scalable product outcomes.
· Strengthen product delivery workflows through standardization of
discovery practices, roadmapping approaches, prioritization templates, OKR
adoption, and product tooling to improve consistency and predictability.
· Assure predictable portfolio level outcomes by monitoring product
performance, delivery health, dependency risks, platform stability, and
execution bottlenecks across initiatives.
People Responsibilities
· Lead and guide multiple Product Managers and Product Management leads
across assigned platforms, products, or domains, strengthening product
discipline, customer focus, and outcome oriented execution.
· Build strong relationships with senior business, engineering, design,
data, and platform leaders to ensure transparency, aligned priorities, and
effective portfolio level decision making.
· Identify capability gaps within product teams and drive targeted
capability building initiatives across product strategy, discovery,
prioritization, stakeholder management, and outcome ownership.
· Support hiring and onboarding of Product Managers by contributing to
role definitions, skill requirements, candidate assessment, and effective
team integration.
· Provide ongoing performance feedback, coaching, and career guidance to
Product Managers to develop high potential talent and build a strong product
leadership pipeline.
