Business Development Intern

? Location: Mumbai | Remote Role

FirstLight is building India's leading influencer marketing agency for FMCG brands.
We're looking for someone who is curious, resourceful, and enjoys finding opportunities, someone who can identify the right brands, find the right people, and start conversations that can turn into business.

What you'll do:
• Research and identify FMCG brands that could be a good fit for FirstLight.
• Find and build lists of relevant Brand Managers, Marketing Heads, Digital Leads, and other decision-makers.
• Source and verify POCs across LinkedIn, Sales Navigator, email, and other platforms.
• Support cold outreach through personalised emails, LinkedIn messages, and other channels.
• Maintain and update the BD pipeline and keep track of outreach and responses.
• Research brands, campaigns, and marketing activity to identify potential opportunities.
• Assist with pitches, proposals, follow-ups, and other business development activities.





Must have:
• Strong research and internet skills.
• Good written and verbal communication.
• Comfortable with cold outreach and talking to recent people.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large databases.
• Proactive, organised, and willing to take ownership.

Good to have:
• Familiarity with LinkedIn and Sales Navigator.
• Interest in FMCG, influencer marketing, advertising, or the creator economy.
• Previous experience in sales, business development, lead generation, or outreach.
